libby's: New Look, Same Incredible Experience!

By this point, you may have seen the sign for Libby’s Neighborhood Brasserie at the corner of Lorraine and University. If you’re a Sarasota local, you may be familiar with the name, but if not, you’re in for a delicious treat! 

Whether you chose to indulge in the Weekend Brunch at Libby’s Cafe and Bar downtown, or you met a few friends for their infamous happy hour, you recognize the Libby’s name and the quality it brings. If you’re unfamiliar with Libby’s or the Tableside Restaurant Group, you will be soon. In addition to Libby’s, they also own The Lemon Tree, Muse, Modern Events, and Oak & Stone. 

While the look is new, the restaurant is still the same tremendous quality. In a recent press release, the company said, “The new logo and exterior renderings reflect a modern, refreshed and clean style for Libby’s.” It also stated, “The logo update is a whimsical reflection of the fun, light and feminine side of Libby’s, the matriarch and namesake. The letter font is wavy and light, taking inspiration from the beautiful nearby Gulf beaches and Florida sunshine. Color variations will highlight classic, on-trend palettes that delight and invite including hues of turquoise.”

According to the Bradenton Herald, Libby’s Neighborhood Brasserie, “will be a casual eatery with a large drink selection, and that it will evoke style, uniqueness and a welcoming warmth.”

The first Libby’s opened in Southside Village at 1917 South Osprey Ave., Sarasota, in 2008, and recently closed in September for renovations. It is expected to reopen this spring. “The fresh, new look at Libby’s can be celebrated by our regular patrons and enjoyed by those discovering us for the first time,” said Seidensticker, the CEO of Tableseide Restaurant Group.

“The refreshed design and logo are just the beginning of more exciting things to come, including the inviting interior and the flavor-filled menu updates,” Seidensticker said.
