Lakewood National Golf News - PGA Stars to Compete in Suncoast Classic
Lakewood National Brings Suncoast Classic to Lakewood Ranch in 2019
Beginning on February 11th, 2019, 144 players will compete for a $550,000.00 purse at a golf tournament held at Lakewood National. With 50 available PGA Tour cards, the Web.com tour operates a path to compete on the big stage. The leading money winners, which are determined at the end of a 23 event regular season, will each earn one of 25 tour cards. Meanwhile, the other 25 are up for grabs at a the Web.com Tour Finals, which is comprised of four events. The Tour Finals follow the regular season, and occurs in August and September.
This is exciting news for golf fans in the Lakewood Ranch area. Lakewood National, which opened its doors about 2 years ago, is presently home to 18 holes of championship golf designed by Arnold Palmer. Upon completion, the course will be comprised of 36 holes. Already a top golf attraction in the area, Lakewood National is the newest golf course community in Lakewood Ranch, which is currently the 3rd fastest community in the entire country. Offering a variety of homes and condos, there is something for everyone.
Condos for sale in Lakewood National can start for as little as the high 100's and homes for sale in Lakewood National start in the 400's. A bundled golf community, each residence comes with a full golf and social membership. Because everyone is a member, the cost to maintain the golf course and amenities are spread out over a greater number of golfers, which results in a very reasonable due structure for residents.
While golf is certainly a signature amenity at Lakewood National, the community will also offer a variety of other amenities, including terrific tennis facilities, a world class clubhouse, pools, and other resort style activities for members to enjoy year round. Two other communities, River Strand Real Estate and Esplanade at Lakewood Ranch Real Estate, offer similar bundled concepts and have been a resounding success. Lakewood National is following in those footsteps, and with a PGA Tour event leading the way, this community is already making headlines.
