Lakewood National Real Estate: Surrounding Area Activities
Location! Location! Location!
One of the most important things about finding a new place to call home is the area around you. The things that surround you shape your everyday life and can make or break your experience in a new town. The location is one of the many things that are so special about condos and homes for sale in Lakewood National.
Lakewood National is in a phenomenal location just off the highway between Tampa Bay and Siesta Key that gives you access to the entertainment of Bay area, the top ranked beaches of Siesta key, and the many attractions of Sarasota. It gives you the unique opportunity to do something new every day in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
The bay area has everything from excellent dining options to indoor skydiving. But more so than anything else, Tampa is proud to be the home to some the best professional sports teams in the world. Spanning over nearly all major sports, the bay area is home to the Buccaneers, Lightning, and Rays as well as several other smaller clubs and college teams. Fans of baseball have even more to look forward to; south Florida is home to many spring training teams including the Yankees, Phillies, Pirates, and Orioles all in the area. Sports aren’t the only appealing thing about the bay area though,
Tampa is also perennial stop on most major music tours in the U.S. With large stadium venues such as Raymond James and Amalie Arena and smaller venues throughout the area, the bay area attracts large acts ranging anywhere from Kendrick Lamar to Paul McCartney. To go along with these stadium shows, the bay area also includes Ybor City. This lively downtown never sleeps and contains many smaller venues that allow the audience to connect with the artist in ways that would be impossible elsewhere. The Tampa Bay area provides endless entertainment in a variety of ways.
On the opposite side of the spectrum, Lakewood National is located only a short distance away from Siesta Key. Siesta Key is ranked the number one beach in America by TripAdvisor for good reason. This beautiful beach includes volleyball courts as well as ample room to set up a chair and relax. But the beautiful weather and white sands aren’t the only things that make this paradise so amazing. Every Sunday just before sundown, the Siesta Key drum circle comes to life. People from all across the island come together to dance and enjoy each other’s company. After a day of fun on the beach, enjoy beachside dining and live music and one of Siesta’s many bars or restaurants. Whether you are looking for fine dining such as Ophelia’s on the Bay, or a more casual option like Siesta Key Oyster Bar, Siesta Key offers a wide variety of dining options that will please any palette. This island town draws people from all over the world.
Everything not included in the excitement of Tampa or the relaxation of Siesta Key can be found in Sarasota. This fast-growing city is becoming a popular home for art and culture in south Florida. Whether you’re visiting the Ringling Museum to learn about the famous Ringling Brothers circus, attending a play at the Van Wezel, or stopping by one of the many studios downtown, Sarasota is overflowing with different arts and cultures. Sarasota is also home to many excellent dining options covering a wide variety of cuisines and cooking styles. From the classic Hyde Park Steakhouse, to the delicious Peruvian eatery Selva, Sarasota is home to some of the best food around.
Lakewood National’s proximity to the bay area, Siesta Key, and Sarasota makes it a destination like no other. This along with many other things makes homes and condos for sale in Lakewood National the top place to buy in the area. The things we love in life often come from what’s around us.
